Simple question (unless I messed up and that isn't quite the way that phrase works). Are you willing to vote for people outside of your political party? As a second question, do you think it's worth it to vote for a candidate you don't agree with on most issues over one you do outside of the spoiler effect?
Personally, I do. I don't tend to vote for people who lack any discernible experience in a related field to the office they're running for, which can remove a lot more options than you would think. However, as a libertarian there really is a special degree of expertise lacking among the candidates I agree with more strongly, so I understand I am in a bit of a unique position. I also like to vote for people who haven proven themselves in the past, giving me a bit of a bias towards incumbents and further narrowing the pool of libertarian candidates I feel are worth voting for.
