And I say "can" and not "Will you" or "do you" because of the following:
I recently got a copy of Pokemon red for 5 bucks. I used to be a hardcore Pokemon fan when I was younger so I basically bought the game to get a chance to play it. already had Pokemon yellow and truly, there's not that much of a difference between those two. In theory, i was eager to play the game. But when I started playing, I lost all interest and I got bored.
This isn't the only game that cause that reaction on me. In my book, if I already finished a game, going back and replaying it just doesn't appeal to me (It also depends on the kind of game). It doesn't matter how good or bad the game is; I just feel like playing something new, something that will still surprise me and challenge me.
So my question is: Am I alone on this? Is anyone capable to stop playing, let's say, a game that came out about a week ago (And you like) in order to play an older game that you've already beat?
And yeah, this question only applies to games you've already beat, not old games you haven't played.
