Ah, internet. So, people aren't getting Dishonored or Borderlands 2 because "the graphics suck". I'll give you a moment to laugh at those people and feel like a superior human being.

Now, my question: What game do you think actually has terrible graphics. Mind the difference between graphics and aesthetics - the modern military shooter is fugly across the board, including BF3, but none of them have bad graphics (esp not BF3^^).
Because, until literally just this second, I couldn't think of an example. Plenty of games have perfectly fine graphics but just don't do anything with them, which is a shame. But really bad? I seem to remember Singularity really not bothering with any sort of polish, on top of run-of-the-mill browny aesthetics - but I've never played it, so...
I mean, even Minecraft's graphics don't "suck" - it's a choice, it's consistent, it even has gameplay implications (lighting) and conveys information (redstone, the breaking blocks "animation").
... The more I think about it, the more the idea of "bad graphics" hurts my head. I'm not even sure I know what good graphics are now o_O
