Hear me out, and stop me if I'm just ranting like a madman here.
Religion's are based on faith. Faith in some higher level or power or organization. Science is often depicted as being different than religion in that it is not based on faith. But I came to the idea that science is based on faith as well.
Think about it, with all the fields, and all the research, and all the history, I doubt anyone, even if they dedicated their whole lifetime to it, could research and verify all aspects of science. So because of this, is Science not based in faith of your fellow man and colleagues?
Am I in some way right?
Am I more wrong than half of the dirty part of the internet?
Do I sound so stupid as to be outwitted by a bowl of milk?! More than likely this one.
Thoughts?
Captcha: Just drive.
Just drive Capthcha! Just drive!!
And for discussion value, what's your favorite field of science? Mine's Biology. I like knowing how things tick.
