So 3 people in a row have told me that New Vegas was "boring" and that Fallout 3 was better.
I can't get my head around this. For me Fallout 3 was a boring game, the world made no sense, it was all dull and grey, there was nowhere to explore that interested me, and the story did not grab me. It was my first Fallout game.
In contrast New Vegas had an intriguing plot, a well crafted world that made sense, factions interplaying between each other, whilst still retaining a post apocalyptic feel. The character crafting system and gunplay was better than there was much more of a chance to roleplay. I played it and was instantly addicted to it.
So why do most people outside of hardcore Fallout fans prefer FO3?
