Sony's stock went up this week and the WiiU sales skyrocketed. All because of Microsoft's horrid presentation of the XboxOne. Here's why Microsoft's presentation was doing Sony and Nitendo a huge favor.
You know all that TV streaming Microsoft was bragging about? The WiiU already has all those features, and the PS4 is confirmed to have at least half of them. They didn't talk at liength about them because the Apple TV and Google TV boxes already provide those serves at a much lower cost. They talked about the extra features for anyone that was interested, but stayed focused on the games. No one is going to pay $350 for a cable box instead of $100. That's bonkers!
When Microsoft finally got to the games; they gave the most time to CoD, which will be out for all three consoles. They also gave a lot of time to EA. Despite them butting heads with Nintendo, they still released games for the WiiU and are definitely releasing games for the PS4. Those 15 exclusives they claimed to have must really suck hard for them to have to count on EA to handle the game portion of the presentation.
And, oh yeah, the WiiU and PS4 don't lock out used games or require a constant internet connection. This could be the end for Microsoft, at least in the video game industry. What do you guys think?
