What will it take for EA to be forgiven?

We all like taking potshots at EA, but let's talk about what the company can do to redeem itself. "Bankruptcy" or any variant thereof doesn't count.

I can think of three things they can do to convince me to give them another chance.

1: Budget their projects!
You might not realize this, but bad budgeting is the source of about 70% of all the stupid crap EA gets shitstorms over. They can't solve all their problems by throwing money at them. Despite having a bigger budget than CoD, Battlefield has never been able to outsell it. Skyward Sword was in production longer than Dead Space 3, but had a smaller budget and sold a lot better. Sometimes, time is a better investment than money.

2: Mod the bleeping prices on Origin already!
No brainer! They don't have to share profits with GameStop, don't have to pay for shipping, and don't even have to burn the discs. It costs them less to go digital, but they don't charge less? That's just stupid. Now Steam and PSN use the "super-sale" system, keeping the prices the same as physical retail and inducing huge discounts at regular intervals. EA has been trying to implement this, but they really have to go big to make it work. Oh, and fix everything else that's critically wrong with Origin, while you're at it!

3: Preorder rewards through Origin.
I noticed on Origin, you can order games to be shipped to you. I see great potential in this. EA can advertize a preorder on Origin with a $10 discount. Include a free bonus of the player's choice and a coupon for Origin as well. Make the customer feel that their business is appreciated.

I would also like to see the end of the online pass code, but these are far bigger issues.
