Back before I realized how awful Reddit was, I would spend a lot of time on there. If there's anything that website has, it's men's rights advocates. Whenever a conversation turned in that direction, one of the first things brought up was the injustice of circumcision. Oh wait, I mean "Involuntary genital mutilation." Some people even linked to petitions to make the practice illegal.
...why? With all the injustices in the world, why are you putting all your dogs in this fight? I mean, I can see where they're coming from, since most boys have it done before they're old enough to object in any way, but still, it's purely cosmetic. I mean, should we make it illegal to pierce the ears of little kids too? It's not like I've ever said to myself "Man, if only I still had my foreskin, things would be different, I tell you what..."
I open to persuasion though, so by all means, you can try to convince me to change my mind. I just don't get the laser focus on that totally arbitrary issue.
