There's an image floating around that I won't link to that says that women have been making fun of gamers for years in the 90's. I won't link to it, both out of laziness and because it'll probably derail the topic.
This got me to thinking, I was a kid in the 90's and I can't remember ever being made fun of by my peers for liking video games. What I remember was that video games were just seen as a toy for boys, like Hot Wheels (except that unlike Hot Wheels you'd see an occasional video game aimed only at girls).
So I want to ask you, have you ever been made fun of for liking video games (not a specific game but just in general) by anyone (of either gender)?
My Dad has complained that I'm too old to still play video games but that's about it.
