I checked the sales myself and I noticed that most of the games that are on sale are either crap, nothing interesting, or games that most people have already and it's basically the same games on sale every couple of days.
This for example, is a HORRIBLE SALE. http://store.steampowered.com/app/47890/ A game that came out 3 and soon to be 4 years ago is on sale for a little over $10 with NO EXPANSIONS ON IT!? And to buy all the expansions, it's $155!? What kind of sale is that?
I didn't see what the holiday sales were like last year but apparently most if not all games that were on sale also had all the dlcs/expansions included along with many other events. Yet none of it is happening this year.
