Now, there are three things you should know before continuing to read this post:
1.) I know there have been a lot of posts on the recent slaughter at Sandy Hook elementary school, I apologize for contributing to them, but I felt this sickening display of sociopathy should be talked about.
2.) A teacher, Victoria Soto, sacrificed herself to save the lives of her first grade students. She hid the students in the classroom, and when the shooter entered, claimed they were in the gym. She was killed, but her ruse saved the lives of her students.
3.) I hate objectivism, a lot. I honestly think it is one of the most depraved, horrible philosophies on the planet, second only to Nazism in the amount of just plain evil that can be loaded into one Philosophy. I'm not joking here, if I could get rid of one philosophy or belief from my country entirely, just suddenly cause it to disappear and be forgotten, it would be Objectivism.
Anyways, without further ado, here's a post that's caused me no end of rage.

A teacher, one who sacrifices herself to save her students lives... And this thing feels that what she did is wrong? He claims that she shouldn't be called the hero she is because she "threw away her life for nothing"? It's one thing to say "she should've fought back" but to say what she did was morally wrong? It is by far one of the most disgusting things I've read, perhaps even worse then the WBC claiming "God did this, you filthy heathens!"
Thankfully, a few people seem to be calling the guy out, however, there is still this air of true sociopathy about them. One person claims that a teacher should only sacrifice himself if he thinks his students are valuable. Another is claiming that it wasn't wrong just because "she didn't know she would die". That is utterly and completely disgusting in my opinion, how can anyone reduce a true sacrifice to save the lives of children to whether those children are "valuable" or "she didn't know she would die"?
So, what do you think about this? Are you disgusted? Do you agree with what's being said (and if so, why?) You already know my opinion, I want to hear yours.
