So it seems like consumers have actually won a victory here. According to a Kotaku article(http://kotaku.com/5969836/the-war-z-removed-from-steam?utm_campaign=Socialflow_Kotaku_Twitter&utm_source=Kotaku_Twitter&utm_medium=Socialflow) WarZ has been removed from Steam, with Valve stepping in to say that it will not be re-released until they are happy with the new build.
Even more interesting in my opinion is that Valve has essentially shot down Hammerpoints attempt a at a "no-refunds" agreement, by stating that all users who are unhappy with their purchase can seek a refund by opening a ticket on Valve's support site.
It's nice to see a developer not being able to get away with such a shoddy release, and that Valve is actually willing to do something about it.
