Alright, Whovians. The seventh series of Doctor Who comes out soon, so it's time to place your bets on what will happen. Lots of changes are coming, so let's discuss what and how we think things will play out. Because I don't know about you, but I've been very bored since series 6 came out so I've done a lot of thinking on this, lol. So bring on your predictions and speculations, big and small, obvious and obscure.
Also, MAJOR SPOILERS for anyone who hasn't finished series 6 yet. Though if you haven't and you care about spoilers I can't imagine why you'd be interested in this thread anyway.
1. River Song is going to die. Pretty obvious, I know, since the last episode ended with her climbing out of the Byzantium, and since Amy and Rory are leaving the show of course they're going to have to wrap all of their related storylines up. So, yeah. Bye bye, River. And related to this: I highly doubt Eleven is going to regenerate in this series, but I feel like whenever he does he will find a way to get his consciousness plugged into that big moonbase server with River. If Ten got his happy ending with his love interest, I don't see why Moffat wouldn't give Eleven his.
2. Madame Govarian will remember that Amy killed her when time was unravelling, and rat her out to the Doctor. If I remember correctly, the only reason Amy and Rory and all them remember what happened in that alternate reality was because they were so close to the center of the "storm" (or at least I feel like that would be the explanation). Madame Govarian was also close, and I don't feel like Amy would get away with that so easily. Plus it would be a viable reason for Amy and Rory leaving the TARDIS. Though I sort of doubt their leaving will be left on a totally negative note, it would be an unglamorous farewell and I don't think that alone would be very satisfying end for them.
3. The "Doctor's Daughter" Jenny will make a reappearance. I started rewatching a few of my favorite episodes this summer, and I remembered that Jenny (the genetic offspring of the Doctor accidentally created during series 4) was still alive and running about the universe somewhere. Once the Amy/Rory/River/Silence storyline gets all wrapped up, that will conclude both a MAJOR story arc and the Doctor will once again be in need of a new companion. I don't think she'll stay to become a companion, but I do feel like she would be a great way to take a breather after such a long and drawn out story arc, and ease into the next companion and story.
And...that's all I've got for now. Anyone else have some ideas? Maybe some more specific stuff? Surely I can't be the only one who's been stewing on this for months :S
